What we collect

Duudlaga Meeting transcribes meetings you explicitly ask it to record. To do that we process: your account details (name, email, via our sign-in provider Clerk), meeting metadata (titles, times, Google Meet links), meeting audio recordings, the transcripts and summaries generated from them, and, if you connect Google Calendar, read-only calendar event data (titles, times, Meet links, attendee emails) used solely to show your upcoming meetings and schedule recordings.

The Chrome extension

The extension sends data only to our own API (meet-api.duudlaga.dev): the meeting link and title of a call you ask the bot to record, and your extension connect code for authentication. It stores that connect code and your preferences locally in your browser. It does not read page content beyond detecting the current Meet call, does not track browsing, and sends nothing to third parties.

How recordings are processed

A notetaker bot joins meetings you invite it to and is always visible as a named participant. Audio is transcribed with Google Cloud Speech-to-Text, recordings and transcripts are stored in Google Cloud Storage, and meeting bots are operated via Recall.ai. Summaries are generated with OpenAI. These processors receive only the data needed to perform their function.

What we don't do

We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or use your content to train AI models. Calendar access is read-only and used only for the features described above.

Payments

When you subscribe to a paid plan, your card details are collected and stored by Bonum, our payment provider. They never pass through our servers and we never see your full card number.

What we receive and store is a payment token that can only be used to charge into our own merchant account, the masked last four digits, the card expiry month, and your subscription's plan, status and renewal date. We use the token only to take the scheduled renewal payment for the plan you chose, and for no other charge. If you cancel, we delete it.

Retention and deletion

You can delete any meeting (recording, transcript, summary) from the app, and delete your entire account from Settings, which removes your data from our systems. Disconnecting Google Calendar immediately stops calendar access.
